The installation Cherryup is made from bamboo and jewellery wax and it shows the stage before the pieces are being processed (cast) – they are potential jewellery, but offers a pause between actual production and consumption.
The installation ‘Cherryup’ is a jewellery presentation, where I show jewellery in its original state, in the form of pink casting wax. The casting wax is one of the first phases of the production process and it is usually only known to the maker.
The jewellery installation ‘Cherryup’ is based on the ‘Cradle to Cradle’ example of the cherry tree – not at all efficient at first glance, but in fact generous and effective;
